The Rowland Unified School District Dual Language Immersion programs begin in Kindergarten and are open to students within Rowland Unified and to students that reside outside the District. Kindergarten is for children who will turn five (5) years of age on or before September 1, 2022 for the 2022-23 school year. 

 

The two way Spanish Dual Language Immersion Program at Rorimer Elementary offers students a 80% Spanish and 20% English instructional model, where English speakers andSpanish speakers learn to think, read, write and speak naturally in two languages, in Spanish and English.

 

This is an exciting, enriching and challenging educational opportunity for 21st century learning. Students learn to collaborate, communicate, and think critically and creatively in all academic content areas in both languages.
